This guy, can be a good work out if you want it to be. You'll find that because of the old molds wearing out, that there are allot of gaps to fill with putty. Then once you have the putty job done, comes the sanding, and grinding. Be careful when sanding, you don't want to sand off the texture of Kong's hair. So for the tight spots, use the back side of a hobby knife.

Painting this guy is a ball! I was particularly happy with the way the eye's came out. Very life like. Now for the base itself, a simple wash and dry brush, and you have a nice rock look. You'll find when you are building the base, that some piece's are missing, namely, the tops of some of the palm tree's. This is due to somewhere along the way, between Aurora selling the molds to Monogram, they where lost, or broken. So what I did was to find some small fake potted palm tree's that just happened to be laying around the house, imagine that!
