THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON

Here we go! This is got to be one of the best jobs I've done on any Creech. Thanks to some good advice from The Diceman. Truly a wonderful likeness of the real thing, I mean it just has that look, Horizon did a great job when casting this guy! I cant begin to tell you how many washes, and how many coats of dry brushing I did, but it was worth it all. Just look at the colors. Dice particularly like the way I did the fade around the mouth, by starting with a deep red, then adding oranges, to light yellows. I want to build a large diorama for him, atop my 100gal. aquarium, with a running waterfall.

Here's a few pic's I took using a diorama I build for another monster scene, but more on that later. Anyway, I found this cool little model of some old ruins at the pet store. I thought it would look good in the background of the diorama for the cave. Kind a like the ones in the movie! What do you think?
